With over 20 years of hands-on experience in buying, selling, renovating, managing, and designing homes, Angie has helped thousands of clients navigate every corner of the real estate world—and she still loves every second of it.

Angie’s passion began with a love for transforming homes, and that spark has only grown stronger. Whether it’s a full renovation or a simple refresh, she finds joy in creating high-quality dwellings that tenants and owners are proud to call home. Her personal experience spans both short- and long-term rentals, giving her a broad, insightful perspective on the market—and a knack for helping clients make smart, informed decisions that align with their financial goals.

Known for her boundless energy and a talent for thriving in constant motion, Angie brings creativity, strategy, and heart to every transaction. She understands that real estate decisions are deeply personal—and often financially driven—so she makes it her mission to keep client priorities front and center at every step.

When she’s not juggling deals or overseeing a renovation, Angie shares a vibrant life with her husband Matt (of Toomey Contracting), their two fabulous kids, and a beloved family dog. She rarely sits still for long—unless it’s at her Monday night golf league....and then she's still not sitting!—and she’s always game for sunshine, movement, and a new adventure.

Kent Sandness brings a unique blend of expertise, heart, and humor to our team as Director of Buyer & Tenant Operations. A licensed real estate agent since 2018, Kent specializes in helping buyers and tenants find their perfect home—with a level of care and attention that truly sets him apart.

Kent has been a valued member of our team for over a decade. Before stepping into his current role, he spent many years ensuring our homes were maintained to the highest standards—an experience that gave him a deep understanding of what makes a property not just functional, but exceptional.

Known for being one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, Kent approaches every client relationship with warmth, patience, and integrity. Outside of work, he’s rarely seen without a Hawaiian shirt, is always up for a good laugh, and shares his home with his beloved dog, Hank.

Matt Toomey is the hands-on force behind Toomey Contracting, our trusted remodeling and maintenance partner serving the Twin Cities metro area. With a career in home renovation dating back to the late 1990s—and an entrepreneurial spirit that started even earlier (think candy shop in the garage, grandma as employee #1)—Matt brings decades of experience, creativity, and problem-solving to every project he touches.

Matt’s expertise spans the full spectrum of residential construction, including new builds, full-home renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, painting, and more. While he now focuses primarily on smaller-scale remodels and maintenance work, his depth of knowledge makes him an invaluable resource for clients seeking thoughtful guidance and reliable bids on any size project.

Yes—if the name sounds familiar, that’s because Matt and Angie are not just business partners, but life partners too. Together, they share two amazing kids, a lovable dog, and a mutual passion for real estate, travel, and creating beautiful spaces. When Matt’s not managing a remodel, you’ll likely find him coaching youth baseball, gaming with the kids, or planning the family’s next day at Valleyfair.

Derek Miller is the kind of talent you only come across once in a lifetime. As our go-to Maintenance & Remodeling Contractor, Derek has been keeping our properties in top shape for over 15 years—and we truly can’t imagine our team without him.

Detail-oriented, resourceful, and incredibly efficient, Derek has a rare ability to diagnose and resolve just about any issue that comes his way. Whether it’s a small repair or a complex renovation challenge, he tackles every project with creativity, precision, and a calm, can-do attitude that puts everyone at ease.

But Derek’s talents go far beyond tools and toolboxes. He’s also a trained actor, set designer, musician, and dog whisperer—yes, really. His creativity knows no bounds, and it shows in everything he does, from designing clever solutions for tricky spaces to building one-of-a-kind art installations. When he’s not working on a client project, you might catch him performing in a local theater production (often alongside his equally talented other half), sharing an original song online, or building his next creative masterpiece for the Lake Harriet Winter Art Shanty Projects.
