To make sure you receive your refund quickly and smoothly, please complete the following:
1. If Water/City Utility Bills Are in Your Name
Notify your utility provider to transfer service out of your name effective on your lease end date (not before).
This ensures we receive your final bill within about 10–14 days after move-out, which allows us enough time to process your refund within the 21-day requirement (per MN law).
2. Submit Your Move-Out Request through the RentVine Portal
Enter your forwarding address.
Choose how you’d like your refund delivered:
ACH (fastest option—enter your banking info when prompted), or
Mailing address.

What You Can Expect in Your Refund Statement
Itemized list of your total deposit on file.
Interest earned (1% annually).
Itemized list of any deductions (for example, we will pay the final water bill and deduct it evenly from all deposits on file).
Refund issued via the ACH account or mailing address you provide in your RentVine portal.
